Enjoy the mountain air and exciting activities in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg where you will be able to take your dog along with you. Enjoy the Great Smoky Mountains National Park with your pet, but please follow the rules. Dogs are allowed in campgrounds, picnic areas, and along roads, but must be kept on a leash, not to exceed 6 feet, at all times. Dogs are only allowed on two short walking paths, the Gatlinburg Trail and the Oconaluftee River Trail. Pet excrement must be immediately collected by the pet handler and disposed of in a trash receptacle. Pets must not be left unattended.
